  • Most of the Boltons who attended the 2010 reunion.
  • Jim Bolton "Jimbo" at his church in Habersham.
  • Jimbo reached into his pickup, pulled out this old flyer (circa 1940?), and gave it to me. He said it was "for being a Bolton."
  • Herman Bolton, longtime resident of the Stinking Creek area. Found him at the store at the Stinking Creek bridge. Knew of my father and brothers, and also my grandparents Birdie and Lillie.
  • Birdie Bolton lived near Habersham, west of 25W and south of Stinking Creek. Thanks to Nannie Lou, Jeremy Archer, and Charles Bailey for telling me where his farm was. Jim Bolton was at his church (shown) and pointed to the depression in the furthest hills as the location of the farm.

  • A trail winds its way from the back of the Bolton cemetery to Habersham. Jim Bolton has walked it many times - he says it's a 15 minute walk. . Jim showed me the Habersham end of the trail, the gravel drive here. His church is just off camera to the left.
